                                                  Elearning

Senior level high school credits are being offered to Kawartha Pine Ridge students by our innovative, certified teachers through the Ministry of Education sponsored Learning Management System. The program has been running successfully since 2007 at KPR. Selected course offerings are available to students across the jurisdiction to meet their individual learning needs in a range or academic disciplines. These courses are free to students registered in KPR high schools. Seats are filled on a first come first served basis and fill up quickly. Please see your guidance department to register in these courses.

Kawartha Pine Ridge is opening E-learning opportunities to students in order to provide greater flexibility in course selections and programming. Students who are able to take a course that may be full, or is not available at their home school. The program also provides options for students who may not be able to attend day school classes or who may have different learning styles and needs.

In order to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities, KPRDSB joined the Ontario E-learning Consortium. As a member of this organization students from our board can access e-learning courses from over 17 school boards across Ontario. This means that our students can select from any of the courses listed below as KPR E-Learning courses or talk with their guidance counsellors about taking any of the courses offered by our Consortium partner boards.
