The albino python was amazing! Here is a preview of next year's schedule: School year calendar The Ministry of Education has given its approval to the 2012-13 school year calendar dates previously approved by trustees, including: First Day of School for Students – September 4, 2012 Winter Break – December 24, 2012-January 4, 2013Secondary Exam Days – January 25-31 and June 21-27, 2013March Break – March 8-15, 2013Last Day of School for Students – June 27, 2013PA Days – August 30, September 28 & November 30, 2012, andFebruary 1, April 12 (secondary only), June 7 (elementary only) & June 28, 2013 School times: P1:  8:02 - 9:31  P2:  9:36 - 10:50 Period 2: Communications with Mr. Jon Gale Lunch   P3: 11:44 - 12:58 P4:  1:03 - 2:17       School Bus website: http://www.stsco.ca/ Period 1 Activities: Self Care Skills -computer for cause and effect programs: for example, students can build up home appliances then hear them work. -students help cook by helping with the mixer or blender. -the light box is used with a switch device that students use to turn it on and off; the light box has colored templates for program activities. -alternate days we will read stories or sing songs. -we have sensory time and will turn out the light for light and / or sensory activities.    Period 2 Activities: Social Skills -walk through the school or outside if weather permits. -occaisional use of the Smarboard in Room 120. -occaisional visit to the sensory room in room 161. -soccer or baseball -a coloring or craft activities each week. -students integrate into Music.     Period 4 Activities: Computer skills  -we alternate between stories read from books and stories   available on the computer.
