As the year continues so does the excitement....especially for those students presently on exchange trips in France and Belgium. Did you catch any films in the Cine-Franco festival or are you waiting to see the 3rd annual European community film festival in Toronto in May. Foreign films are also shown at the National Film Board , Alliance Francaise and Goethe Institut in Toronto. Mr. O'Reilly has been polishing his French for his Vimy trip. Let's wish him "Bon voyage"!!! And what about that great trip to Spain!!! The students came back with stories of the ornate splendour of Spanish castles and towns....
Why not download a podcast (in Spanish, French, German , Mandarin) to help you with your listening and speaking skills...???....play it in the car when you go on that long road trip!!!!! Visit a website for adolescents where the latest music, films, art, sports and celebrities are presented.....Get your teacher to help you if you need some suggestions or assistance.
